    Hey,

As you probably noticed, we now have an articles section. Over the next weeks, I'll be moving many of the "stickied" posts into the articles section, as well as adding back all of the articles (after updating them) from the old articles.degreeinfo.com.

It's a little early yet, but we plan to be adding new articles on a regular basis. If you would like to see an article on a particular topic, please post in this thread and let us know what you'd like to see.

Also, if you have written an article you think would be appropriate for the DegreeInfo audience, or would like to write an article for us, please PM me with what you're thinking. As long as it isn't the same as one we already have in the queue to publish/republish, we're always delighted to have more articles.

As always suggestions and comments welcomed. We hope you enjoy this new addition to degreeinfo.com

    Chip,

I think that this is a great idea, since many people will only look at the first page of a forum to see the most current disucssions. Having half of the forums on the distance learning page as "stickies" means that there are 17 fewer non-sticky discussions that, perhaps, will not be viewed or considered. Many of these may be only a day or two old.

Regarding the articles, what if someone has published a journal article that may be of interest to Degreeinfo members and is available freely online. Would you consider linking to it?

Yes, we're still working out details. What I think we're going to do is have a section with articles where we've arranged permission to repost, and in cases where we can't get permission, post an abstract with a link to the actual article. The only sticky part we're working on right now is how to deal with sending traffic to competitors who are monetized. I know we can strike a balance and it's just figuring out how to do that.

But yes, PM me links to any articles you think would be a good fit and that way we'll have something to start with when we're ready to do that (which should be soon)

    Thanks!
