A Texas inmate program that a poster alluded to earlier (back in July) may be found at this website Windham School District Please note that this program seems to be for under age 25 inmates, so that probably cuts out at least 50% of the inmate population. It also appears that the inmate is eligible for only one course at a time, and must find a way to pay for any additional courses taken in that term. Even as this is a good program for younger inmates in Texas, it is NOT free and NOT available to all Texas inmates.
Correction - just to be clear, modify the last line to read 'Not totally free [unless taking only one course per term, under age 25], and NOT available to all Texas inmates.'
