please help...looking for tuition free masters/Doctorate degree
I have spent about 20 hours scouring the net for information.
I do not have any money to pay, but I want a Masters degree, or doctorate though I am not sure that is possible without a masters...in Christian studies -Ministry/Pastoral/Divinity/Counseling /Leadership/Bible study/something (that when I look at the syllabus I get excited) from a reputable school that will be recognized. If possible, I would love to get something having to do with writing or journalism . I prefer something that caters more to the people and building a ministry, but with solid biblical courses.
If possible, I would like to complete it very quickly.
Does not have to be accredited, but I would like for it to be recognized as reputable. I do not live in the US, but would like it to be recognized there.
I have already looked at Nations University and it does not fill me with great excitement.
I am an aspiring author and would like to have a background that will fill me with knowledge to write to the people for evangelizing, not necessarily for academic purposes.
I have investigated Galios and would like to know what people think of this one?
Again, I cannot put any money into the education .
If you could please help me, I would appreciate it. | | | | | Grand Canyon University | Grand Canyon University

Counselors work in diverse community settings designed to provide a variety of counseling, rehabilitation, and support services. Their duties vary greatly, depending on their specialty, which is determined by the setting in which they work and the population they serve. Although the specific setting may have an implied scope of practice, counselors frequently are challenged with children, adolescents, adults, or families that have multiple issues, such as mental health disorders and addiction, disability and employment needs, school problems or career counseling needs, and trauma. Counselors must recognize these issues in order to provide their clients with appropriate counseling and support.
•People interested in counseling should have a strong desire to help others and should be able to inspire respect, trust, and confidence.
•Education and training requirements vary by State and specialty, but a master’s degree is required to become a licensed counselor.
•Projected job growth varies by specialty, but job opportunities should be favorable as job openings are expected to exceed the number of graduates from counseling programs. | | | | | | -
I don't believe that what you're looking for actually exists in the DL world. There are situations at regular B&M universities where a doctoral student might be given a stipend for being a teaching assistant but I think that's as good as it gets. It shouldn't be too surprising though. It would be a little like going to a good restaurant and expecting free food. | | | | | Education Degrees | Education Degrees
Teachers play an important role in fostering the intellectual and social development of children during their formative years. The education that students acquire is key to determining the future of those students. Whether in elementary or high schools or in private or public schools, teachers provide the tools and the environment for their students to develop into responsible adults.
Teachers act as facilitators or coaches, using classroom presentations or individual instruction to help students learn and apply concepts in subjects such as science, mathematics, and English. They plan, evaluate, and assign lessons; prepare, administer, and grade tests; listen to oral presentations; and maintain classroom discipline. Teachers observe and evaluate a student's performance and potential. They are increasingly asked to use new assessment methods
•Public school teachers must be licensed, which typically requires a bachelor's degree and the completion of an approved teacher education program; private school teachers do not have to be licensed but may still need a bachelor's degree.
•Job prospects are best for teachers in high-demand fields, such as mathematics, science, and bilingual education, and in less desirable urban or rural school districts.
•Teachers must have the ability to communicate, inspire trust and confidence, and motivate students, as well as understand students' educational and emotional needs. | | | | | | -

Online Degrees Oh yes, I found this. Thank you. I think I may sign up for this because I like the syllabus, but it does not offer any degree. Only a certificate. -
P.S., if it is not a fast program, that is ok too. It does not have to meet all of my specfications. -

I do not know if they are accredited or not..some are, some not. And to be honest, I really am confused about what they should have in the way of accreditation. I am American but I live in Europe.. I would go with Nations Universitysince there seem to be suggestions online here for that one...but I am not pulled to it.
There were a lot more, but these were the ones I was most interested in. | | | | | Grand Canyon University | Grand Canyon University

It keep saying my post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it..
And I have posted a list of the schools twice now...but it is not showing. -
I am not interested in taking one course and getting a doctorate degree... as the person above had spoke about. That would qualify the Universal life church then as a diploma mill I guess. I know I did say I want it FAST, but I just meant that I want the studies to be accelerated..not to take 3 or 4 full years. -

Here's a link that explains it. Sorry for the inconvenience. http://www.degreeinfo.com/distance-l...-posts-go.html
Also, as a new member, it is probably not the best idea to jump in and begin criticizing without understanding what is going on. Be satisfied with what you have, but never be satisfied with what you are. -
Ok Thank you...I understand. It was just really frustrating to retype the same thing several times....I am waiting for the previous posts I have made to get posted. But I hope that other people will please tell ME what YOU know..I came here looking for info, and you are asking me for the info that I am looking for! :) Posting Permissions - You may not post new threads
