Can anyone point me towards inexpensive DL courses, undergraduate and graduate, in Bible and English/literature/writing? Not degrees this time, just individual courses.

    Thanks!

Clovis Community college has a couple (3 or 4) bible classes and they are cheap! I have taken 2 of them :)

Clovis has extremely cheap and extremely easy Bible classes 6 credits for $225.
The teachers are really nice as well.

You have Global University (RA and DETC) for $110 x credit hour or they also have graduate certificates of 6 classes each I think $220 x credit hour. Intense writing and research required for their grad classes and I think the grad certificates are a good option.

You also have the Baptist Missionary Association Seminary (RA) classes very easy as well. If I am not wrong $100 x credit hour and you can get undergrand certificates. Like Christian Leadership fully online.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed. I was looking for cheap courses to use for renewing my teacher's certificate, while I'm trying to decide which master's degree program to enroll in.

I've narrowed it down to WNMU and Baker University.

How long do you have until your Cert. runs out? How does this work? Will you still have take additional testing before your Cert. ends? If you change subjects, do you have to re-cert?

Just some questions I thought about.

Do you have to be certified to teach online? What if you already teach online, do you have to get a cert. before you can teach at a brick and mortar school?

My certificate expires next summer; I have to take two 3-credit courses before then - undergraduate or graduate. That is the only requirement. I can change subject and not have to re-certify, as long as the subjects are in something that the state dept. of ed. certifies teachers in.

Concerning your last two questions, I don't know the answers to those.
