Yes you Can anyone recommend online Masters in Public Affairs/Administration with concentrations in Nonprofit management (Besides Park University). I would prefer 400.00 and under per credit hour (the cheaper the better really) but want a good school so would consider more money for a great school. I have been searching for about 2 days and im not having much luck!
Troy has an MPA in NonProfit Management - College of Arts and Sciences They are RA and National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) accredited
You can check out the University of Illinois at Springfield MPA program. Not sure what the out-of-state tuition rate is, but i'm sure you can find out from their website.
Marylhurst University has a MBA in non-profit management Marylhurst University - Master of Business Administration (MBA) Does it need to be an MPA? I'm not sure but I don't think that most MPA programs have concentrations.
It is about $15K for the program (I looked into it). 10 classes / 4 credits each. They do not offer concentrations.
Fairleigh Dickinson University offers the Master of Administrative Science in a fully online format, with the option for focusing studies via certificates, one of which is in NonProfit Organizational Development. School of Administrative Science :: Fairleigh Dickinson University.
No it does not have to be an MPA but I do want the non-profit part of it. Actually I have seen a lot of the MPA programs have concentration just not very many with the non-profit concentration.. I wish I could find the tuition rates for the college you linked but I get annoyed when they do not have this information online !
Great price at $225 per unit for a good MPA (there may be some additial fees) eTuition for Graduates CSUDH also offers an on-line MPA: http://mpaonline.csudh.edu/ It includes this course: PUB 551. Leadership and Management in Nonprofit Organizations (3) This course addresses leadership and management issues in nonprofit organizations. Topics include the dynamic functions and membership structure of nonprofit organizations, especially staff, board, and other volunteer relations; governance and management of nonprofit organizations; resource mobilization; and program development, management, and evaluation.
A lot of MBA programs now offer non-profit management tracks. Maybe you should look into some of those to broaden your options.
Here is a good list to start with - NASPAA - National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration These are NASPAA and online.
I am currently doing my MPA with University of Colorado - Denver. They have a non-profit concentration. I really like the program so far. If I recall correctly, each 3 credit class costs $1600 (you need 12 classes to graduate). Not as cheap as you had hoped but you would have a good degree from a good school for not much more than your price point.
