Do you guys know of any other schools offering the Great Books of The Western World as their foundation (DL learning)? HMU seems to be the only one

AFAIK HMU *is* the only one.

Not DL though and I'm not sure how up to date it is.

St John's doesn't offer their program via DL, which is what the OP was asking about.

There are a number of universities that offer some version of the "Great Books" program, HMU is the only one to offer it via DL.

As I thought. Well I am in a unique group.

  9. Are you still planning to finish at HMU?

I believe that the original poster (you) asked for schools that use the great books as a foundation, not specifically for a degree program.

As I study and write within the GBWW, I am coming to a realization that the ideas of these volumes has died much like the study and spoken language of Latin.
