I was curious if anybody here has taken any Spanish classes at TESC. I have always wanted to learn Spanish--but I am not sure how it would work online. Would it be like Rosetta Stone?

I am going to call the school tomorrow to check on my application and try to get some more info on the Spanish classes they offer. I just have not had any good luck so far with help from the school.

I've heard good things about Pimseleur
(I think that's how you spell it)
and there's plenty of spanish television to watch to practice your listening
then you can CLEP 6 credits

I'm not a fan of Pimsleur, at all, but the tv is a great suggestion. Also, when i get home, i can post a link to streaming spanish radio. The site has hundreds of stations from around the world.

Spanish Clep is a great idea. It gives you the opportunity to learn in a way that you find most interesting and fun, and still get your credits. It's also an incredible deal! For $230, I got 24 credits between the french and Spanish CLEPs. Less than $10/credit :)

or you can take the Uexcel that is only 6 credits however Excelsior transcripts them as if you had taken a class so you can transfer it to the school of your choice.

Near the bottom of the page, you will see two drop-down boxes. The one on the left says "Escoge una ciudad" which means "pick a city." The one on the left says "escoge un género," which means "pick a genre."
