It saw the building in person. It's huge! It is located in a nice are of Santa Ana. The City of Santa Ana has been spending a lot to make that area into kind of artist loft, historical type area. It is looking good.

The new building will have room for a big testing center.

Dang...looks nice. I'm glad even some distance schools are keeping a good image. The last thing degree holders want is a school operating out of a strip mall.

AJU has got them beat with their newish campus....lol...:0

Are they renting a room or the building?

Main street location is a WAR ZONE, looks & feels like Mexico City.
Gang murders happen here more than any other CA area!

What's wrong with Mexico City? Gang murders happen all over the US my friend. Where do you live by the way?

I have been to Mexico City and I can tell you there is a lot wrong with it. I went down there with my friend and it was nice in the tourist parts of town. Other than that 95% of the town is a hell hole. I sear there were people on corners holding out bags of dope for sell. The smog was a killer to; I could not breath right for a week after coming back home. I just hated to see that level of poverty...it was sad. The other thing that was sad was the people they had working in the Hotel we stayed at were all Americans, a lot of them were Mexican (I think) but had perfect American accents.

Like anything, there are good parts, and bad parts. You can see swanky spots in LA, then turn the corner and see gang members. This is the same whether you are in Rome, Paris, Spain, London, etc. The whole country cannot be judged by some bad parts. I got off in railway in France around 3am in the morning. To top it off, the lighting was broken. Out of the shadows I saw three thugs trying to sneak up on me. I set my bags down, grabbed piece of old pipe that was laying around, and as they approached, I took the first guy out! The others wanted to part of the pipe. So, do I judge all of France based on this? No, I happen to love the South of France myself, Nice, Narbone, etc.

Now, I asked the guy who made the "seems like Mexico City" comment where he lived. A lot times, we have had this discussion before. The look on internet thing and it says there is a lot of gang crime. Does this guy live in Orange County? or is he just speaking out of his arse? As I said, the city of Santa Ana has spent A LOT of money remaking their image by building up the arts, theaters, museums, etc. Sso if someone is not from Orange County, they would not know this. Unless all it is is the guy is afraid of seeing or being around too many "Mexicans". This is KALIFORNIA - a Spanish word after all.

LA is kind of a shit hole IMO. I was there a few weeks ago for a wedding, and it had been several years since I'd been there last, and I hope it'll be several years before I have to go down there again, lol.

Its not all bad, but the bad for me out weighs the good.

Cali is not for everyone. Love it or leave it baby. lol. I'll stay here in the sunny beaches and the palm trees. I live in the O.C., so the makeup is quite different from LA. LA has some really nice areas though, and bad areas, just like most cities. I have travelled enough to realize this. The famed Vatican City has great areas, and then some shady areas on the outside. Overall it is beatiful though.

    YIKES!

    Santa Ana

The FBI just released their latest crime statistics and sure enough, Santa Ana is still number one in violent crime in Orange County – by a wide margin

One of my clients is a large engineering company in SA - they located there because that is where there is a plentiful supply of employees (mostly female without their own transportation). I have never felt unsafe visiting them.

The Bowers museum is also located in Santa Ana. And a friend's son just bought a $million+ house there. Watch out for this city to be gentrified over the next decade.

Another gets hit! Labor Day Weekend

SANTA ANA (AP) — Authorities have identified the man who went from big winnings at a Southern California casino to death at the hands of robbers.

Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said Saturday there are no suspects and no arrests in the death of 55-year-old Chi Ngoc Bui of Westminster, who was run down by robbers in Santa Ana just after winning several dollars at Hawaiian Gardens Casino.
