Another question on what is professional and proper. I was wondering if it was acceptable to put the initials of a 2-year degree in your signature on a business card or in correspondence. I know, nothing is stopping me from doing it, but I don't believe I have ever seen such a thing on one's signature.

    Sincerely,
    Maniac Craniac, AA :D

It signifies an academic accomplishment and you should show it off in any way that you can. Go for it.

I think that for DI purposes, you should list every degree if you want!

However, for business cards, I am not a big fan of listing degrees, unless they are doctoral or possibly masters-level.

When I finish my doctorate, I'm thinking of having it tattooed onto my forehead. :)

The only thing I listed on my business card was MCSE to gain the respect of the hospital IT staff so they knew we could talk at the same level.
