    Interesting Yahoo Article:
A recent study finds programs that give graduates specific skills in niche areas are best for future employment.
What's Hot On Campus - Yahoo! Education

    What do you think?

I think top people get top careers regardless of major. Individual drive is far more of a factor.

This is not really a legit article; it's more of an ad disguised as an article. Every link in there is sponsored by one of the online schools. I was fooled by this same thing on Yahoo not too long ago. It took a little bit of poking around to figure out that it was not really on the level. This is one of the things I really dislike about Yahoo News; they do everything they can to maximize their profit with little regard for the truth. I'm not saying that it's false information, but it is not an impartial report on job prospects.

But this part is true - Most engineers I know with 7 or so years of experience are earning around a $100k/year with some higher (not including benefits which are worth a lot).
