Anyone else use Dealoz.com to find textbooks? It used to be called campusi.com. Just a search engine that finds the best deals on books, mostly on amazon, ebay, buy.com. It also searches bookstores. Not trying to promote here, just passing out info on a site I have used for years and very glad someone told me. I have sat in a few classes and listened to classmates talk about what they spent on a book, not good!
Are you in any way associated with the website? I'm going to check it out and use it if it really does find the best deals. That would be great.
I personally like using straight ISBN search engines. Also Google Google Product Search and Advanced Book Search It will give you top 20 or so sites selling books
It is just a site I have used to find textbooks since 2003. Im sure there are other sites that might be better. I look forward to hearing of them also.
Yes, I agree, thanks. I'm paying for my degree at Liberty straight out of pocket, so saving on textbooks is very attractive. I have always been too lazy to do the research and just bought textbooks new, read them and then kept them on a bookshelf when finished, never to be opened again. I have a very cool looking bookshelf, but a what price? I am vowing to be smarter about this degree by buying used books and then selling them when I'm done with them.
I have been using DealOz.com for the past six months or so. I have saved a ton in used and rental books. As the OP states, it searches only websites that sell or rent textbooks.
