I have 5 classes left to complete my MBA at Columbia Southern University. They have open enrollment so you can register at any time and you can finish in 3-10weeks:D. I just looked at the syllabus for the classes and I love each and every class that I have to take.

This is causing me to almost need an intervention. If I could register for all 5 at once, I would!! The most I can take at a time is 3. But I could probably get 2 done one month then the next month take the final 3! ooooooh so excited. I used to reserve my most dreaded subjects for the end.

I know that feeling. I'm always amazed when iIspeak to people who have had really bad school experiences or simply hate school. I'm always excited when I look over some of the curriculums I'm trying to decide between.

Good luck with the rest of your courses! The end is near! :D

Don't overload yourself. If you do, you may find that the subjects you love will become a misery! Congratulations on getting the lame stuff out of the way first. What a great place to be in.

I end up getting so excited about so many different curriculums that I should have a permanent spot on the "wash out" list lol

My mom rolled her eyes and said, "just let me know when you FINISH" when I told her I was starting an MBA program...

I think it's good to get excited about education. It's a good problem to have!

    course set up

You usually have 1 section quiz per week which has mult. choice (40%) and then 2 short essays in APA that are a total of 60% of the quiz grade. So far every course I took I had to not only answer the question and convey that I knew what the text said on a subject but also find examples from my own experience or real world examples that applied to the subject. Lots of points off for no real world example.

The final is proctored mult choice open book. Although, you really won't just find the answers in the book...(know your stuff before you take the final!)Sometimes the course requires a scholarly paper in addition to the quizzes.

It's on blackboard and asynchro. I like it. I find I get a lot out of the essays and probably give more than is needed on the answers. I started a few years ago there and I actually didn't do so well but I really think it was the particlar teacher. But a few years later I have gotten my GPA up to a good place and doing very well in my classes.

I really feel that you get what you put into it. I really want to take away my knowledge and apply it to my future endeavors and thus I am getting a lot from the program.
