Not according to their Accreditation Statement.

    Hi

Here's a copy of PFC's accreditation statement from their site. Looks (from that) like they offer Associate's and Bachelor's degrees only.

Penn Foster College is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education and is authorized to grant Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees. Penn Foster College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

Here's further confirmation from PFC's listing at Distance Education and Training Council: The Global Leader in Distance Learning Accreditation

Associate of Science degrees in: Business, Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Computer Information Systems, Fashion Merchandising, Medical Assistant, Early Childhood Education, Veterinary Technician, Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, Graphic Design, PC Maintenance Technology, and Health Information Technology. Bachelor of Science degrees in: Business Management and Criminal Justice.

Ashworth U. - a DETC school with operations a bit similar to PFC is offering five Master's degrees - no M.Ed. is listed.

For the lowest price NA M.Ed. I know of (basic Tuition $3,600) try www.aspen.edu. I think this deal is only good for the next few days....I'm not sure if it appears on their website (The $3,600 MBA deal does) but I know it's offered. A trusted reader called them a while ago to make sure.

I have no affiliation at all with any school listed. :)

They had lost their minds when they came up with that program. You had to be a licensed teacher to attend and the tuition was more than most RA M.Ed. programs. It was never on their site, it is on a separate page I think.

    It is the Daggett School

Right - not the usual PFC offering....

    Hi

Good catch - I never knew about it at all. And the "accreditation statement" in the PDF doc DOES include this M.Ed., which doesn't show on the day-to-day site's accreditation statement - or at DETC. I think with PFC it's safe to assume they had DETC approval when they advertised the program.

Cost? Right again - basic tuition and registration tips around $10 G's for this NA degree - $265 x 36 credits, plus $250 app. and registration. Aspen's $3,600 deal is looking even better - look for the flashing blue light in Aisle 5! :)

    Thanks.

I inquired directly on the student forum, and here was the official response:

Great info...I wonder if the DETC would not let them do a master program.

Not sure about that theory. DETC allowed Ashworth to go from offering associate's degrees only to offering master's degrees.
