THat was a good idea! Seems every day someone asks about that.

The two identical threads (one in this forum and one in the introductions forum) combined already have over 80 visits! This one might eventually break a DegreeInfo record ;)

Any idea what the record is?

By far the most popular thread in the entire history of this site is the Free Online Courses thread by TCord, with over 49,000 visits. When I graduate with my BA, you better believe that I will be hitting that thread up for years to come. Who can beat free education? :D

When my account was accidentally deleted I was quite baffled for about 10 minutes by my missing posts. I posted two or three times in frustration. I felt so foolish when I realized what was happening.

I wonder if you could arrange for a nice big bold text in the sign-up confirmation email that says "YOUR FIRST 5 POSTS WONT SHOW UP FOR A WHILE!" (or however many it is).

The page will tell when your posts are in moderation. It lets you know that you have to wait until a moderator approves it. Does no one notice that?

I just want to point out just a few days ago we broke the record for most users online. It was 300+ now it's 600+. Makes me wonder what the heck was going on that day.

I hate to disappoint, but 300 of the 600 people were probably Googlebot. When it crawls the site, it has lots of bot agents that show up at the same time. However, from the traffic specs, it does seem like our traffic is substantially up (substantially more than double) from 4 months ago. :)
