Is there any programming languages courses that can be taken online for credit, for eg php etc? I found that those taught to my employees are kinda old stuff. Trying to encourage them to take something that is more useful for them and for the company.

Have you looked at Harvard Extension School? Their IT program might have some available courses.

I did the Programming and Logic I.
Its in java, but failed because I know C and the course was TOO easy and just boring, so I just quit turning in homework :(

I also took Structured Query Language(SQL), which is pure Oracle and PL/SQL. That course was no joke even though I've done some SQL Server before. It was definitely NOT too easy.

same site but under Type choose Computer Science courses

    these are NOT for credit
Computer Science | Video Courses on Academic Earth
but they are videos of credit courses at MIT, Stanford, Harvard and Berkeley
you can view the entire Computer Science 1, Computer Science 2, and Computer Science 3 series from Stanford

I've only watched a little of "Building Dynamic Websites" from Harvard, but I like them.
