Does anyone know of any programs that offer a PhD in Environmental Health or similar environmental study areas online?? I have searched for countless hours and I only found 1 which is at Antioch University. It doesn't have to be entirely online I can go to the campus a few times a year if need be. Please, I hope someone has some information? Thank you.

Thank you for the info! I've never thought about trying to get a degree from a foreign country... are they legit degrees... if I showed the degree to a potential employer will they laugh at me? Is this degree program accredited by a comparable U.S. accrediting agency... I'm just hesitant at the thought of obtaining it anywhere else than the U.S. because I've never heard of many people doing it I guess.

South African universities are very legit. I just saw my friend, who went to Harvard and was a Mellon Fellow in the Humanities decide between jobs at University Jo-berg and University of Wits. The system is different but they are great universities, akin to Research I in the US. Getting an advanced degree there will require even less hand holding than PhD programs in the US. I work in a Research I.
