So, as I already said in my introduction- the dudester is lookin for a DL Degree from UNISA. I'm retired, so I already am swimmin in cash, I'm just doing this to pass the time and get smarter, ya know?

Is there any kind of personality test or course sampler you know of that can help me figure out just what I want to study? I'm undecided and have not a clue- everything looks so groovy!

Also, I have an American AA degree. What level of degree do I qualify to enroll in with them? It doesn't look like South Africa has an equivalent to an associate's degree. Do I have to start AAAALLLL over with a Bachelor's from them?

I'm hopin to be hipin a diggety-Doctorate sometime in the near soonness. But, of course, that will be some effort a way now will it?

Happy to be here on DegreeInfo. Thanks in advance for all your help.

    Bang, Bang!!!

    Cool, glad you're here!

Yes SA does have an equivalent to an associate’s degree. I just looked into it a few months ago. It’s a two year program and for the life of me I can't recall its name. From what I understand it is very hard to get your credits transferred over to them. I'm not an expert on this though.

    Why not a US school?

Does it specifically have to be with UNISA? It sounds like you would be a great candidate for a degree from one of the three assessment schools:

    Charter Oak State College
    Excelsior College
    Thomas Edison State College

A National Diploma. But that's generally in more 'vocational' type courses.
They might transfer credits depending on the relevance they have to the degree you're looking at.
