Per my good friend Teodorito aka Ted Heiks aka Tedmeister aka broheim, I am posting my obligatory I am done with my MBA thread. :)

    See grad pix below:

I am the dude with the sunglasses in pic #10, first row starting from the left. I am also in pic #39 (sunglasses) receiving my degree from Dr. Lady.

It was great, and my wife and parents were beaming with pride. Thanks to Aspen for everything, it was much appreciated!

Looks like a really nice ceremony. Seems like Aspen is going with Dr Lady in a very positive direction.

No, that is it for me. Though I must admit the SA research PhD has always intrigued me.

I would like to thank all of you for all your advice, support, and help when I needed it. If it had not been for this forum, I would not have learned about legit schools like Aspen (hidden gems), the importance of CLEP, DANTES, etc. Prior to joining this forum, I had been a career student along with working as a loader unloader in 100+ degree temp to pay for college. I also worked as a bouncer (roadhouse style) in order to fund my ten years in CC college. I have to admit, this was one of the best educations I could have received. I was at the CC so long, the staff had me teach a health and workout class for independent study so I could use the gym. I would ask counselors about schools that would allow me to earn credit via non traditional means, but I would never receive a straight answer. We all know schools make more by having your butt in the seat. Later, after I received my AA degree, I worked my way up the ranks in the Insurance field. I needed a piece of paper that demonstrated I had the equivalent of a 4 year degree (though by then I had A LOT of credits). I learned about the big three and took as many CLEP and DANTES I could in order to supplement my DL credits from U of Iowa, UCLA, UCI and the U of Nebraska. I decided to roll all my credits together and go with CCU for my B.S., which worked out great for me. Then, thanks to this board, I learned about the Aspen MBA, and the rest is history. I will start winding down my comments as I have propensity towards verbosity.

Thanks to all of you. As we all learn something new, we have to a responsibility to share knowledge which could help others. I will remain here and try to offer any advice or knowledge I have acquired over the years. Mostly importantly, I will offer support and ecouragement.

    Thanks!

    Abner :)
