I have completed about 4 modules of Aspen Ed.D . I am thinking of a transfer, is there any DL RA Ed.D that is willing to accept a 4 module transfer?

    Jack,

If you don't mind me asking, why are you thinking about changing Doctorate schools?

The program is quite decent, just that I do have some issues with the admin side of things. But to be fair to them, I won't be discussing them in public.

While there are a number of RA schools that will accept credits from NA schools (particularly at the undergraduate level), I cannot think of any RA school that would accept NA credits into its doctoral programs...sorry.

    Hi Jack,

I just sent you a PM with a couple of questions.

    Regards,

I doubt it, but you can try Liberty University, and you can try Northcentral University. You have nothing to lose by inquiring with all the programs you can find, since the worst they can do is say no.

    Hi Jack,

Of course you can't greet someone like that at an airport...

I agree with Steve... Inquire to RA Ed.D. programs of interest to ascertain whether they will accept some of the Aspen Ed.D. credits. Of course, they won't accept the credits, but it will be very interesting to hear their reasons as to why they won't accept the DETC doctoral credits. Normally, very few credits of pre-dissertation coursework would be transferable anyway because of differences in programs.

Also, Jack, what would you like to do with the DETC doctorate? The answer to that question helps unpack the whole issue of to transfer or not to transfer.

Also, also, would you mind sharing your estimate of how many students have enrolled in the Ed.D. program from the beginning? How many have graduated? Thanks!

I need the Doctorate in my country where I think few if any know of the regional and national classification. In fact, I think some of them think national sounds a more important degree :) .

Not sure on the students, I am taking Independence study and not together with groups.

OK, so then why quit... What do you plan to use it for?

  12. Can Dave Wagner be stopped from badgering anyone who inquires about doctoral programs? This guy has already started a doctoral program and Dave is still in here harassing him.

It is really apparent that Dave has had some terrible experience and he is using his own angst on others.

What was so awful about your TUI experience that it has turned you into the anti-doctoral messiah?

    Two problems:
    1. Doctoral programs are generally not too big on transfer credit.
    2. Not many RA schools accept NA credits.
