I have been off the board for a while. My lovely wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer two years ago. With everything I am doing for her, she said I need to do something for myself and I thought “go back to NCU!” I am on a leave of absence from my education PhD program and have been away for two years. I have completed 18 units and have 33 to go at $480.00 per unit. It would be about $17,000 to complete. Is this the best way to go or do I jump to another program? How is Northcentral University perceived now? Any other program recommendations? I did enjoy NCU while there, but it is all online. This board is great and has helped me so much in the past.

It's not perfect, but I like NCU. I've got a pretty good list of pros and cons about NCU but I don't want to post them on the board. PM me if you would like me to forward them to you.

I also have my list of pros and cons but can provide that type of list for anything! Overall, I like NCU. They are still one of the best deals in DL PhD's. If you have a portion completed I would say go for it and press forward.

Another thought; NCU is probably the most flexible of the RA schools. If you are busy meeting your wife's needs, you might find NCU the best fit to the time you have available.
