Is this accreditation institution legit?

ODL QC Index of accredited providers
I've noticed that it accredits many instututions I want to take courses from.
Is it an legit source of accreditation
(I'm from poland, so this is an uk instutution)

Ok, I understand that my question might seem a little unclear.
You see there's this institution that seems to accredit various schools
Open & Distance Learning Quality Council
The thing is that many of the schools deal with alternative medicine (about 50%), so I have certain doubts about the authenticity of this organization and their value.

 

The provided "accreditation forms" by this agency do not suggest that a candidate institution would have undergo a true accreditation process. I do not know how things work in Poland, but this would not be considered a recognized accrediting body in the U.S.

 

I looked at the website, as well, and I have to concur with Dr. Pina. It doesn't appear to be the kind of accreditation that would be honored in most academic or employment situations.

 

ODLQC is a recognized accrediting agency in UK which is similar to DETC in US.

You're Welcome! But you keep to understand that though it's a recognized accrediting agency in UK but acceptabilty and recognition may not be as widely compared to Royal Charter in UK or RA in US.

 

Yeah I know, but it deal with alternative medicine, everything better than a complete scam is enough for me in this field.
