    Hi, Everyone.

I did a search on this site for post graduate certificates in Political Science, and the last thread was over two years old, so I thought I'd start a new one in the hopes of fresh information being available.

Do any of you know of an affordable postgraduate certificate in Political Science? I don't want to spend more than $6,000 for the certificate. If you know of such a program, can you please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks so much.

While it's not a certificate, for under $6,000 you could get an MA with WNMU that could have a history/politcal sciences combo, and if you worked it right, your history courses could be cross-listed as political sciences courses so you'd have plenty of PolySci to go around.

The WNMU idea is a great one for sure. You could also check out Fort Hays State University. They offer an online certificates and masters degrees in political science and public administration. Graduate credit is $225.00 per hour.

    Hi,

First of all, thank you all for the feedback you've provided thus far. I sincerely appreciate the time you've spent responding to me.

My goals with the certificate are two fold:

    1. Be able to teach political science at the college level.
    2. Increase my chances of landing a job with the federal government requiring post graduate credits in political science.

Knowing this additional information, if you have any more tips I would sincerely appreciate reading them.

    Thanks,

    Bryan
