Got a phone call this morning from a political candidate in next week's election, county treasurer in Monterey County. He has been "outed" for his claim of having a law degree from the above place. He is adamant that he really did a lot of work, 30 years ago, by correspondence, from what was then a legal but unaccredited school, unconnected with Bryn Mawr College, and hopes to be able to say something to reporters/voters before the election. I've not heard of it. The phony (and quite large) Washington International University has used an address in Bryn Mawr, but I'm not aware of a connection. Here's the newspaper article:

Ron Holly may exit Monterey County treasurer's race | thecalifornian.com | The Salinas Californian

If anything is known, I'd be glad to hear it. Thanks.

Why can't I get into these good bargains before they're outed and out of business? I could get an MPA, MBA, MPH, JD, PhD and a DBA for the bargain price of $10,000, get out of the military and use my combat veteran status to get elected somewhere in CA.
    I have no luck. *sigh*
