I've seen several threads regarding philosophy degrees, a topic I'm interested in as well (which is perhaps why I've noticed). During the course of my research I've discovered a new program that I haven't seen mentioned: The University of Memphis online BA in Philosophy This program is so new that it starts Fall 2010. There isn't a ton of info other than an info request form, but you can look at the BM Philosophy program to get an idea.

They say this: "The Department of Philosophy will offer is online BA in Philosophy with a concentration in Applied Ethics starting in fall 2010. This program will focus on ethical theories and ethical problem solving in the context of a number of professional domains including medicine, law, and business.*Core courses in this program provide a solid foundation in the history of philosophy and logic." Applied ethics isn't exactly my thing, but somebody might like it. It's definitely a growing subspecialty within American philosophy.
