Can you guys share with me if you know of any online Bachelors degrees that is short terms (8weeks), little to no math as I truly suck at it, and less than 400 per credit hour!

Currently I am working on my BA in Human Service and I have about 6months left before it is complete. The college I attend requires little math (for my degree none actually) and they run 5x per year on 8 week terms which I really want . The only reason I am considering switching is 1. Because I am to the point where if I am going to the time is now and 2. the tuition is 400 per credit hour (cost is 1620 per class) going up to 415 next term and i would love something that cost less.

    Thanks in advance!

Columbia College (of Missouri), 8-week terms about $210/credit. I'm not sure about their math requirements, but their social sciences and business degrees all require statistics.

Ashford University offers five week classes at $ 372.00 per credit hour for undergraduate classes. I did not notice any specific requirement for math but I already transferred in with several math courses from past classes. You may want to refer to their student catalog for that.

Liberty University offers mostly 8 weeks courses, and some 16 weeks (20%). The current tuition is $275.00 per credit.

Troy University offers 10 weeks courses, and 5 terms per year. Part time can take up to 3 courses per term...if you don't have a job you can deal up to 6 courses per term. I used to have one of the classes took 6 curses per term. The current tuition is about $210.00 per credit.

Columbia Southern University - 8 week terms, $195 per credit, books included, moderate math requirements. If you don't use financial aid there is an option for 10 week open enrollment terms, start anytime, self-paced, and you can finish in as little as 3 weeks. I hope this helps...

I could not fathom switching schools and programs when only having six months left to finishing a bachelor's degree.

No offence but in that case you need to take some math courses - in my experience employers look for math skills in most job areas. I would suggest you take a in-seat class at your local CC.
Perhaps you could review some of these video courses:

I suspect that people are not good at math because they had poor K-12 math teachers.

I was thinking the same thing, but am glad that you said it first :) If you avoid working on your weaknesses, they will always be weaknesses.

On that note *sigh* I guess I should go buy a pull-up bar :'(...

I know you guys are right about taking Math courses but I seriously HATE THEM! I have taken a few and your right again that I had bad math teachers! I was considering going to the local CC here and taking some Math courses as I have tried online before and did not do so well ! If I decide to stick with my current college I think I will wait until I finish my Bachelors and take a class so that I can focus on that class only.

Thanks for the tips on colleges! I will give each site a look :)

I can see that but I am at the point where the amount of credits I need are just about the credit you have to earn at a college in order to get a degree from them so if I am going to switch right now is the perfect time!

Did you check out the big three and APUS?

With the big three you do not have a residency restriction (except for one course in some cases) and can transfer courses from any RA college/university which could lower your cost to completion significantly. Also you can apply CLEP & DSST exams to your degree.

I have not simply because it all confuses me as to what I would have to do etc. I should check into it more!

I just noticed you live in Kansas.
Check out Fort Hays SU to see if that might work for you - it is mentioned frequently on degreeinfo.com. Maybe they offer reduced tuition to in-state residents.

Thanks! I am calling them tomorrow to ask a few questions! I must say that their website is really lacking in ease of usability.
