I've seen some posts on here that students need to apply far in advance of TESC graduation times.

I need to clarify does that mean a person needs to have already completed all classes and/or tests prior to applying? I saw where they can take up to a month to post these.

So, if I wanted to graduate in March of 2011, I'd need to make sure I completed all of my classes or tests by December 1st, a month prior to the January deadline? Is this correct?

A big thank you for clarifying.

    Degree audit

Hi, I am unsure of the fate of TESC as we know it now. I would hustle through as many credits asap since TESC still takes an extended break during the holidays. Hille

I'm trying to, money of course IS an issue. I'm not too worried about the fate of TESC at the moment because I enrolled through March, and my credits towards degree should be good at least through then.

I'm in one class now, just paid for another, required class to start in July (that is the last TESC required for my degree I need, the rest are just subject area credits). If I need to be done, like I'm presently thinking, by 12/1 that will obviously change tests I need to take. Plus, I need to take the GRE. I'm thinking in Sept. or Oct. would be good for the GRE. And, of course, I need to actually study for all these things. I'm thinking, but again it would be quite expensive, if I find myself having to finish by 12/1 I will probably shell out money for GRE prep, because it seems I may have limited study time and more things to study for than planned on, especially given all the non school things on my plate.

I got a reply from them in case anyone else wants to know. You have to have finished the tests or classes prior to when you apply for graduation, but you don't have to have the grades in yet. So, if you want to apply for March graduation (Jan. 1) then you would have to have completed everything by Jan. 1, but since they are on vacation the last part of Dec. really probably by the mid of December, which is looking very close now :)
