Can anyone lend any advice on how to get into the DL teaching profession? Is it easier to go from classroom to DL or simply jump into the DL genre?
Make contacts while you are still a student. Maybe you can teach at the same school. Get involved with your current school (yes even DL). Offer to guest lecture for local schools, even just a one day talk. Present at local groups and organizations. Offer to assist with curriculum / curricula development. Share some more information about your goals, history, and background. Short questions get short answers. I've done all of the above and had two offers to teach without applying. One was a local, private B&M school while the other was online. Why do you want to teach?
