    Hi

I was searching for a dual degree in MBA/DL and I found one available in UMUC. However I’d like to know if there are similar programs I can join? Please help I’ve done a lot of searching but in vain.

Also, I would like to know if UMUC (University of Maryland, University College) is like a community college? Or is it another independent institution of UM? Does UMUC have the same accreditation as UM?

Sorry to say that I don't know what you mean by MBA/DL, but I do know of this dual degree:

It is an MBA and a Master of Science in Leadership.

As for UMUC, it is a separate school from University of Maryland (which is officially called University of Maryland, College Park), but they are both public schools in Maryland. Yeah, it is a bit confusing, but they are not different campuses of the same school, they are separate schools with similar names.

They are both regionally accredited, but for the MBA program, UM has AACSB accreditation and UMUC does not.

UMUC offers a number of MBA + another Masters (dual degree) programs. One completes a standard MBA through UMUC + an additional 18 credits for a second masters degree in another subject. The OP is referring to this program. Note that the reverse is also possible (complete a masters in a specific subject - e.g. Distance Education, plus an additional 18 business credits to also obtain an MBA).

The word college might be confusing - there are quite a few colleges that offer degrees up to masters level (and sometimes higher). Boston College offers doctorates. In NY state I believe a school can only be called a university if it offers a doctorate.
