    Hi Everyone,

I had my bachelors degree in Law and my masters degree in Psychology in New York. Currently I am looking for Phd degree preferably in Europe (in an accredited university). but I am not an EU member so I have no option to work in Europe. I, therefore, need to do this either as a "low-res student" or as a "distant learning student". But have few information about the European University System. Some of the universities only offer research while some of them require you to take courses as well. If you share information on this, I will be grateful.

    Thanks

How old are you? What do you plan to do with the doctorate? (What utility does it have for you?) Thanks.

In UK (and some other EU places) look for external program(me)s.

    Hi everyone,
Dave I am 28 years old. I want to pursue a career in the university while practicing law but other than that I don't what you mean by utilities.
Kizmet thank you for your advice. I will take a look at the UK universities but as far as I know the tuition is very expensive since I am not an UK member. Some universities in Europe is tuition-free or some of them like Dutch universities offer scholarships. So if you have information, could you share it with me?

You'll discover that there are not that many choices in Europe. This sometimes relates to the language of instruction for the various schools. You could start here:

So you want to teach (and research) in a University setting?
