I'm wondering if anyone here can provide me with any input on St. Joseph's College of Maine? I'm considering their MHA program, but don'tknow anything about them and have never heard of them. I know they are RA and the program is online and fits my needs, but I'm interested to hear from anyone who has taken classes through them and their experience. Thanks in advance for your help.

Good school, RA but I'd look at others I found them not real good at DL based on today's technology standards, also look at graduation rates - low :(

    Cheers

Where did you find this info? I searched all over the place and found them to comparably ranked with some prominent local private colleges and I couldn't find anything negative when I searched. I would be very interested in finding out where you located additional info. I have been very frustrated with Excelsior and their lack of technology when it comes to their DL courses, so the last thing I want to do is sign on for 2-3 more years of headaches and frustration! Thanks in advance for your help!

Ask them for thier drop out rates and grad % rates. I took 9 classes with them and then left to another college.

    I now have 2 Bachelors, 3 Masters & I an workind on a Doctorate, I have I year to go.... :)

    Just my 2 cents

    Cheers

(My overall rating of their school C-) YOU CAN DO BETTER

BTW, you could take 1 course and judge the valve and self ROI

    Cheers!

Is that why you label the graduation rates as low? Do you have a percentage that includes other students?

I was in their MBA program and though the degree outline was fantastic I was blocked from continuing there by a well meaning if not idiotic policy stating that I could not use financial aid while getting any reimbursement from my employer, I had to decide to take one or the other, whether or not either sufficiently covered my costs for the degree program. No amount of appeal worked and I had to drop...very broken hearted and frustrated.

The forum itself wasn't too slick, the technology we were using was old but the assignments were well thought out. I did enjoy the class. Student services were great if phoning in but the online services were lacking. I think it's a great school with tons of promise but they need to give more attention to DL students and update their policies to be consistent with the times and of course with adult students.
