Hey everyone. I noticed that there was a similar thread, but instead of hijacking his/her thread so I decided to create my own. I won't be enrolling anytime soon so any "planned" programs would be great too. I need an MBA program that is online, and DOESN'T need to be AACSB accredited. I don't have a set price range right now, so I willing to look at anything that is below ridiculous. The main issue that I am having is finding a program that doesn't require a ton of pre-req's. If possible I wouldn't like to do any, realistically I would like to keep it to 3-4 classes or classes that can be done through CLEP/DANTES.
Consider Isenberg School of Management: MBA Programs Part-Time and Online MBA Regionally accredited AACSB accredited online program same as the B&M (part-time) $ 750.00 per unit Only 37 units You can take: CLEP Principles of Management CLEP Microeconomics CLEP Financial Accounting DSST Principles of Finance (DANTES) adding them to your undergrad transcript to meet pre-requisites or if you prefer to avoid the pre-requisites add one more class (Foundations of Business) to your MBA program.
You might want to consider Ashford University. No GMAT or GRE required. If you do not have coursework in accounting, economics, and finance, you will need to complete the Business 599 course, which is an overview class of each one of these. Each class is six weeks in length and the total amount of credits hours needed is 33 (36 credit hours if BUS 599 is needed). The tuition is $541 per credit hour so each class is $ 1623. You can be finished in about a year and three or four months if that makes a difference to you.
Bellevue University (Bellevue University | Master of Business Administration (MBA)) requires foundation courses as part of their 36 credit program. For those that have business undergraduate degrees they skip the foundation courses but are required to complete a second concentration. Cost is $450 per credit. From your signature it may be worth mentioning that I had quite a few active military and several attorneys (graduates of Creighton Law) in my classes. From a personal perspective the program met all my needs and expectations of an MBA degree.
The Bellevue University program seems pretty good. I like how they have integrated the foundation courses into the degree requirements. I also have a friend that is attending Ashford (undergraduate, early childhood education) and she loves it.
Tarleton State University: Program is 36-hrs. total (21-hrs. core / 15-hrs. elective) – ACBSP accredited. *Students who are required to complete graduate leveling requirements (FIN 500 and/or MGMT 500) may count one or both courses as electives in the MBA program.
