Now that's just plain creepy. I can't see this used in a virtual classroom. What would be the point? I also can't understand how using an avatar in a virtual meeting would be acceptable. The whole point is to see the actual person you are communicating with. Do people actually do this?
I guess I just can't figure out why anyone would want to do this. Having done my share of online classes, as a student, I really didn't care about seeing the instructor or any representation of him or her. Give me the work, let me do it, let me move on...
