International student Scholarships

I am very keen to possibly study online at an overseas university. I was wondering if anyone possibly knew if there were any scholarships available for international online students as financing such a study would be very expensive considering that I would have to convert our weak rand to dollars.

 

You forgot to mention what degree you wish to earn.

Never the less I do not know of any US colleges or universities offering scholarships for on-line studies. Your best bet is to seek scholarship opportunities in your own country.

I thought tuition in South Africa was very low. If you are looking for low cost tuition you might want to look at the UOM – cost for an undergraduate degree is around 18,000 MYR, 41,800 ZAR, or 5,600 USD. Open University Malaysia

If you want to take a chance on a new free university gaining accreditation then check out the University of the People
accreditation
They do not award degrees yet but will if they receive accreditation. Whether pre-accreditation courses can be later used towards an accredited degree is a question you would have to ask them.
