    Howdy all!

I'm considering taking some classes at Clovis Community College this summer, but I have a few questions. My main question deals with the format of the course. Do anyone have a source for syllabi for the course, or would be willing to send me some? I have a particular interest in science courses with labs, as these are what I am most in need of. I am curious if the courses are self-paced or if so much has to be each week.

I am also curious if summer tuition is the same for both residents and non-residents, but I can't seem to find anything online that says either way.

They do something very interesting with their tuition. Up to 7 credits costs the same as 3 credits for both in-state and out of state. Your 8th credit jumps up dramatically in cost, but each additional credit is a very small fee, and only slightly higher for out-of-state than in-state. This is the best deal going for regionally accredited online classes anywhere outside of in-state California community colleges.

Here is the link to access the syllabi:

Assignments are submitted weekly. The Biology and Chemistry for Gen Ed courses use household materials for the labs. Biology for Gen Ed requires a textbook, Chemistry for Gen Ed does not.

Summer tuition rates can be found in the registration booklet, which you can download here:

    Good luck!
