Touro and RHIA

    Has anyone involved in these forums successfully used Touro's Healthcare Management flavorings as academic qualifications to obtain RHIA, RHIT, etc.?

    These are the eligibility requirements to sit for the RHIA exam:

    These are the eligibility requirements to sit for the RHIT exam:

    Both of these certifications require that you attend a school that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education or one that has a reciprocity agreement with CAHIIME.

    Some of the other certifications will allow you to use course work from TUIU, for example the Coding Specialist certification just requires a high school diploma, working experience in coding, and courses in coding:
