These are the eligibility requirements to sit for the RHIA exam: http://www.ahima.org/certification/rhia/requirements.aspx These are the eligibility requirements to sit for the RHIT exam: http://www.ahima.org/certification/rhit/requirements.aspx Both of these certifications require that you attend a school that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education or one that has a reciprocity agreement with CAHIIME. Some of the other certifications will allow you to use course work from TUIU, for example the Coding Specialist certification just requires a high school diploma, working experience in coding, and courses in coding: http://www.ahima.org/certification/ccs/requirements.aspx
