Hey guys I am looking for community college deals. I need a bunch of arts and sciences credits in anything and 6 in history. I am taking classes at Clovis but the thing is that I can only take 6 credits x semester to get a good deal.

I have already taken Penn Foster and LSU classes. And I am not a resident of California. Anybody knows another community college that offers deals similar like Clovis? your help will be warmly appreciated

    Thanks!

What happens if you take on more than 6 credits at a time with Clovis? Do they jack up the price?

YES. They give you a huge tuition break if you do 6 or less credits (they don't charge you for all the credits). However, if you do even just 7 credits, they don't just charge you the regular rate for the 1 credit, they charge you the regular rate for ALL credits. Same with WNMU's graduate programs. Keep it under 6, and its the best deal ever!

Are you interested in other options? CLEP, DSST, UExcel, ALEKS? Those would probably be your best deals outside of Clovis. ALEKS especially if you can finish quickly and your school accepts them for credit.

I am done with ALEKS and I am not a good tester.

Western New Mexico University and the University of Wyoming, not community colleges, but outside of Clovis I don't think you can beat the tuition. For undergraduate courses, they are about $100/credit, Wyoming being just a few dollars cheaper.
