University of the People

    I have heard A LOT about the University of the People from other websites, therefore it surprises me that I haven't seen any information about this school here. I couldn't even find anything through a search.

    They are a budding University that offers their courses tuition-free (of course, there is an application fee and and they do charge an assessment processing fee, but overall it is very inexpensive).

    They are currently unaccredited and have chosen not to confer degrees until they obtain some sort of accreditation.

    Does anyone know anything else about them?

    There have been several threads about this project here on degreeinfo.com- but like you I could not find one using the search function.
