Dear All: How many of you have heard of it in relation to Organizational Development? I was looking at this institution for doctoral studies? The institution is not well-publicized in comparison to many distance education institutions, but I have heard positive things about it. If you have heard of this place (i.e., good or bad), or have an opinion about it yourself, please let me know. I think the more information I have, the better able I will be to make an informed decision.
The Fielding Institute is certainly a credible institution, offering many DL programs. Barry Foster, a regular poster here, earned his Ph.D. at Fielding and has spoken very positively regarding the school. Russell
Fielding is, to my knowledge, the only APA-accredited DL school offering a doctoral degree in psychology. This certainly speaks well for the quality of at least that department. I've heard good things about Fielding. I understand (but have no firsthand knowledge) that their curriculum and learning style, by their own admission, is somewhat different than a lot of other DL schools, and Fielding says that their program isn't for everyone... but outside of that, I'd say you couldn't go wrong by choosing Fielding.
