distance learning courses in Hotel and Restaurant Management in Canada

i just came across this forum. would be very thankful if someone can help me find a distance learning course in Hotel and Restaurant Management offered by a Canadian institute which is also well recognized in country... i'm new in Canada and would like to take a DL course to widen my opportunities in Hotel and restaurant managment

I'm just curious, but hasn't the hotel and restaurant industry in Canada been affected with the recession? I know that people in general are not traveling that much.

It might be a good way to get your feet wet, without spending thousands of dollars, only to later discover that the hotel/restaurant market is tapped out.
