    Hi Jacky

I thought I replied to your previous post, I have been studying the University of Wales MBA through RDI since January 2009, I have completed 3 modules, and am finding it very useful and interesting. Let me know if there is anything specific that I may be able to help with.

    Hello Jenny,

    Thank you for your message.

I would like to know about the assignments for this course. What types (or forms) of assignments you needed to accomplish ? According to your personal experience, do you feel that they are difficult to pass ? Is it a tight deadline for assignment submission ?

I will be appreciated for your comment. Thank you very much.

    Best regards,
    Jacky

    Hi Jacky

Two of the assignments are 24hr turnaround - where the question is released at 12.00 noon (UK time) and then the answer has to be submitted through plagiarism software by 12.00 the next day, I did one of these last time and it was quite intense, I guess the key was preparation beforehand as much as possible. The other assignments are all either case study or experience based, the questions are normally issued about 5 weeks before the assignment is due.
I am currently studying 1 module over 3 months, I find this is about right as I work full time and have other activities I like to do during the week, and I am not in a hurry to complete the course - although it would be perfectly possible to complete 2 modules in a quarter if you wanted to, or more if you were not working. I do not think it is particularly 'hard' although you do need to put the time into doing all the activities the course provides to fully understand the topics, extra background reading also helps if you want to achieve very good marks.
The area that I most enjoy is the discussion with other students from all over the world via forums and live chats, when analysing management techniques of other large well known companies to understand the different aspects of their operations and strategy. This has been very informative and opened my mind far more than I expected.

    Hope this has helped

    Jenny
