One more CLEP test to sit (English) and I can register to COSC for a BA [IMG]

I am wondering what is the best book (or ressource) to get information about individual DL courses.

I am not yet sure of the concentration I want to have at COSC (maybe French and English writing). Upper level credits are required and I can't get them by CLEP exams only (and there is no GRE French ...). And as a non US resident, other exams such as DANTES are more difficult to take. It means that I will have to take some DL courses (but I don't mind [IMG]).

    Thanks for your help !

"...the best book (or resource) to get information about individual DL courses."

If you have access to a good public library or a college library, go in and look at The College Blue Book. The new edition (29th ed., 2002)includes a Volume 6 that is devoted entirely to Distance Learning. It has an index that helps identify by subject many accredited colleges and universities that offer courses.

The book is not comprehensive. It doesn't list everything that everybody offers, but it is a very good resource.

and what about Peterson's independent study guide ?

I live in Japan, that makes it a little more difficult to go to a public library ... but thanks for the info.

I found Peterson's independent study guide at amazon.com. It is not recent though. Can it be considered as a good source too ?

    any other idea ?

    Thanks !
