Well, I don't mean to spam the forum; but in case somebody wants to earn a Master degre in Education through University of Texas at Arlington for $4,950.00 •M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies •M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction - Literacy Studies •M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction - Math Education •M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction - Science Education
Sounds like a great deal for residents of the USA. However it does not seem like this price and/or program is available for international residents. (At least, the linked forms to apply or request info only allow US addresses.)
A great value for Texans, and now expanded to Oklahoma and New Mexico residents [only] at this ($4950) price; however, UTA is a state university within the UT system with tuition pricing limitations for most out-of-state residents. An additional plus for Texas residents is that up to 18-hours of SBEC teacher education certification course work can be transferred into their online M.Ed. program. http://stateu.com/uta/
This is a great deal. If anyone else is interested in an MA in education, cheap and FAST, you should consider VESi. It's a CD-ROM based course for graduate credit, and a lot of schools accept 12-15 of them (almost half the program.) These credits can be earned relatively fast. Here's a list of partnering schools. http://www.virtualeduc.com/universities.php
