We already know that California Southern University and American Graduate School of Education have now been accredited by DETC, but their website still hasn't been updated ... are they just a bit slow to add this new info to their database, or could there be other concerns holding up their official announcements? I imagine it might cause some confusion if some, for example, visits the CSU website, sees the DETC logo, then looks up CSU on the DETC site and finds that they are not listed ...
This is typical with DETC; they leave it to the school to announce. DETC updates its website over time, and these changes will at some point appear. If the school is listed by DETC as an applicant, but the school's website indicates it has DETC accreditation, you can believe it.
