I'm over halfway finished with a degree (from brick and mortar school) and have transferred those credits to UMUC (I'm contracting in Iraq). How will traditional and well respected schools weigh my graduate school application (assuming test scores, essays, etc. are up to par)?

In other words; will UMUC be taken seriously by Tier one graduate schools?

30 - 100 are not hard to get-in as long as you have high GPA and good GRE/GMAT score if requires.

10 - 30, this is tough regardless your background; howver, depends what is the major.

For example, there a guy was dinged from Harvard Business School's MBA with 3.8 GPA/ and 780 on GMAT. In a flip side another guy was accepted to Havard Business School's MBA with 3.3 GPA (Undergrad), and 3.4 GPA on JD with 760 on GMAT.

You can get into Johns Hopkins Master in Applied Economics easily... no GMAT/GRE, Undergraduate GPA 3.0. Prerequistes include Microeconomic, Macroeconomic, and one year of Calculus.
