    Greetings to all,

I am seeking all forum members advises and help towards pursuing my Bachelor degree. Let me explain my queries, following this please advise me which online University will suitable for me. I am Non-US degree seeker, so please take in account.

I have almost 100 credit hours from a accredited university of my country. I was studying "Computer Science"

I can go through any field, like Bachelor in IT or computer science or even simple BA (I have plan for MBA later) , Business Administration etc, but of course.. where I can apply maximum of credit hours.

DETC or regional accreditation, I really have no idea what and how that would important for me, as I am not in US but probably, I want my degree should be recognize/accepted anywhere, as I am already immigrant on recent place and in future maybe move to any other country.

I am not able to pay more then $100 per month, its not that I don't want invest in my won future, but its what my current economic situation is. So, a University with $100 monthly payment plan, is exactly what I am looking for.

I want be free on my schedule, I want be able to finish courses as soon possible and start new, more over, some universities make necessary to purchase books and etc, that would definitely increase cost per month, please consider on this point as well.

The final point, I have one idea to finish/complete my rest of 30 credits( of course, hopefully my 90 credits will be accepted, in case) in a aprox period of 6 month.

Thanks for every one who is spending their precious time in reading my post. I would highly appreciate any advise from any member. You are going to be GUIDE of my future, so many thanks as advance. I wish you all good luck.

    Thanks.

I think you should consider school from your country. I don't mean to insult you, but $100.00 is not even enough for textbook and fees. You might check out Penn Foster College's Bachelor in Computer Information Systems.

Have you thought about vendors' certifications? http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcdba.aspx#tab2, Sun Certified Java Developer

I also think you should seriously consider finishing the Bachelor's at the institution where you obtained those credits and then go for a DL Master's degree in the US.. If that's not a possibility, and considering RA US schools, I guess (don't know if it would work) the maximum savings could be obtained by

    - doing the remaining 30 credits from say, Sweden, where tuition is still zero for international students (until fall 2011) and then transferring those as well. Check out www.studera.nu , I believe some Swedish universities offer a number of nice undergrad Computer Science courses in English via DL
    - doing a number of those CLEP and DSST exams for credit that could be applied as general education credits
    - using your existing IT industry certifications as some schools give credit for them (I believe Excelsior among the "Big Three" does)

Which country did you obtain those credits in, if it's not a secret, and which courses did you take?

You already have a 100 credits to apply towards a bachelor degree awarded by an academic institution in your own country. There is no good reason to pursue the remaining credits from an academic institution situated outside your country; unless, however, you plan on immigrating to the foreign country where you will be completing your remaining credits.

    I concur with TEKMAN.
