    Hi there,

I am looking for non-credit certificates in one of the above areas. I have a background in linguistics and language education, and have a tendency to end up in customer service and management positions (instructional supervision, sales rep., team management). So I need some background in these more business-y aspects.

Money is a factor, but so is a good name. I'll appreciate your input!

    SAPM (http://knowitright.com/content/sapm)

SAPM (stanford Advanced Management Program) by Stanford University offers a variety of courses that not only cover project management but also many other important aspects of management. I have taken few courses & found them prett good. Refer to http://knowitright.com/content/sapm for more information and for others who have done SAPM courses.

Thank you very much! These certificates certainly carry good names. However, I am looking for something more affordable. Like in the 1,000-2,000 dollar range. I like the programs like the Rutgers IMED certificates, the TAMU ones, or the Auburn MBA prerequisite certificate, but I'm entirely fine with lesser known schools.

Temple University-Fort Washington offers web-based non-credit certificates that might be of interest. Glancing over their website appears that some certificate offerings will meet within your areas of interest as well as your budget.

    Good suggestions, keep 'em coming.

Tulane has some very cheap for-credit certs, too. They are from the School of Continuing Ed., not the School of Business, but they are just around $900 per course.
