Degreeinfo apparently in court cases started by FTC (Threat of the Week)

    Well, we seem to have reached a new pinnacle in the history of threats at degreeinfo.

    It seems that the proprietor of California University FCE thinks he can intimidate us with the (nonexistent) threat of some sort of lawsuit ostensibly initiated by the FTC.

    Now the amusing part is that (1) FTC is unlikely to have any jurisdiction here and (2) even if they did, they would have sent a complaint letter first.

    When, oh when will people learn that making a stink about these sorts of things never has the intended effect?


    So, for the uninitiated, the CUFCE is a combination daycare center and university credential evaluating service. This alone should tell you a considerable amount about the legitimacy of the organization.

    That is great - your 6 year old can be watched and earn a prestigious degree! That is a good use of time...;)

    My favorite part about this place is that there website is blocked by my employers IT department as WARNING: GAMBLING SITE.
     
  5. Now that looks like a quality institution of higher learning. Maybe it's run by drug lords? :)
