Calc I at PFC for an EC transfer

Has anyone taken Calc I through Penn Foster and transferred it to EC? It’s ACE reviewed so shouldn’t be an issue, but I tried calling EC and got the typical “You must apply to get an answer to that”. I’m not applying yet, because I’m waiting to finish everything in under a year and avoid the Student Fee a second time.

And yeah, I know I could do the CLEP but I was told it wouldn’t be prudent to do it by an academic dean of a grad school I’m interested in. Plus I want an actual class anyway. Everything else is much more- LSU is $346 (although my 2nd choice), BYU is $500+, etc.
