Anyone ever took an online degree at North Carolina State University? I have been thinking of taking a Master's degree in Engineering, and I want any review or advice regarding this University.

    Thank you in advance…

Hi there, I live here in NC and earned my teaching's license from NC State University. I have had several family members who have attended the campus for degrees and they have good things to say about the school. It is one of 3 state supported universities, in NC, that offer online engineering degrees. The other 2 are NCA&T and UNC Charlotte

You certainly shouldn't be concerned at all about the school's reputation, accreditation, etc. It's a tier-1 research institution. I went there for my undergrad. While I don't have any direct experience with their online/distance ed components, I have no reason to doubt the quality of the offering. They are well-known and respected in the engineering, agriculture, and textile fields.

Best Engineering school in the state. Solid rep, but I'm not a fan of the athletic program. They are bitter rivals to ECU. Solid choice I'd say.
