    Hi,
I will be in Zurich in January (2010) and need to organise an invigilator for an exam. Does anyone know if this is possible for a foreign student to organise?

It might help to know that the more common word for "invigilator", at least in the US, is "proctor" :)

I don't know how it work in Zurich, but in the US it's very common to go to a library (either public or university) and sometimes you can find a librarian who will do so for free (as part of the services the library provides) or for a reasonable fee. There are also standardized testing centers, at least in the US, that will often do this sort of thing. And sometimes someone at a church will do so. It really depends on what the requirements are of the school requiring the testing.
